Thanksgiving Dinner

Community Table is located in the gym of the First Presbyterian Church at 301 Highway 35 North, Rockport, Texas. Diners from all sectors of the community are served from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. at no cost by friendly local people who care about them, no matter who they are. Most importantly, no one is turned away.

Community Table is not a soup kitchen serving the underprivileged, but rather a social event where all who come are treated as guests (or neighbors) in our home. Seven churches and three service organizations in the Rockport-Fulton area combine to serve all the people of the area. There is no screening, no judgement of any kind.

Help Needed

The Community Table on Tuesday, November 14th, will be a Thanksgiving Dinner.

— Magda needs help preparing sweet potato casserole on Monday, November 13th in St. Peter’s kitchen at 10 AM.

— Help serving the meal is need beginning at 4:20 PM at First Presbyterian Church. Servers must have a Food Handler Certificate. A Food Handler Certificate can be acquired online through All Star Training. No testing is included in the online training.
