About Live Streaming Ministry

In response to social distancing made necessary because of the coronavirus, a small group produced the first ever live stream from St. Peter''s Episcopal Church Rockport-Fulton. On March 22, 2020, Fr. Jim, Aimee, Betty, and Mary Catherine streamed the Morning Prayer service live from St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Rockport, Texas. They had no previous experience with live streaming. They had to learn about audio systems that would work with the device that they use for connecting with Facebook Live. In addition, they learned how best to stage the services and capture the video. The multitude of challenges did not deter them. They persevered. Now they are producing beautiful services complete with music by Meredith. They have truly served others with the gifts that they received.
